ORDINARY PEOPLE...

Personality-
Being the daughter of Chinese immigrants, she was named Jubilation for the joy her people had felt upon coming to America. Due to the father’s job as a bank director, the family had a large income and they ended up living in Beverly Hills, with young Jubilation entering prep school, where her talent for gymnastics was discovered.

However, Jubilation used her agility for not so noble things, with her and her best friend spending most of their time at the mall de jour, making petty robberies, taking their escape on their rollerblades. It wasn’t for the money, just for the sake of doing it, or, as Jubilee put it, she wasn’t proud of doing it, just of how they did it.

One day, though, Jubilee was trapped in a dead-end alley by a pair of rent-a-cops. Fearing juvenile detention, not to mention her parents‘ reaction, she panicked and her pyrotechnic powers manifested, hitting full blast to destroy the entire alley. Her first instinct was to run to the beach, where she tried to keep her hands wet so that it would never happen again.

EXTRAORDINARY ABILITIES...

Abilities/Powers/Skills-
Jubilee had the mutant power to generate bright bursts of multi-colored energy plasmoids from her fingertips. She referred to these globules as "fireworks." The globules obeyed her mental control, traveling where she directed them, arranging themselves in balls, streamers, and other shapes, and exploding when she wished. The strength of the energy varies in degrees of power and intensity, and could range from a multitude of colorful sparkles capable of temporarily blinding a person to a powerful detonation capable of smashing objects and destroying property, or a precision burst inside a human brain, simulating the effects of a massive stroke. Jubilee could absorb the fireworks back into her own body without harm.

Limits-
Jubilee can't always control her powers, sometimes her powers spark every now and then without her wanting too and also she cannot control the light or fireworks she produces after they have been launched. Also, Jubilee's eyes are vulnerable to the light, he i not immune to her own powers so sometimes she wears goggles when sh has to or knows she is about to fight or take part in a battle.

History-
Jubilation Lee is a Chinese American girl born in Beverly Hills, California, where she lived with her wealthy immigrant parents. An immensely talented gymnast, she was believed to have the potential to participate in the Olympic Games. However, her life was destroyed when her parents were murdered by the hitmen Reno and Molokai.

Jubilee was sent to an orphanage, but she ran away and hid in the Hollywood Mall, stealing food to survive. She first discovered her mutant power to generate blinding and explosive energy "fireworks" while running away from mall security. The stress of running away from the security guards caused Jubilee to emit a large light energy blast while in a back alley. This completely disoriented the men and allowed the frightened young girl to escape. Upon learning about her mutant ability to create fireworks, she realized she could earn money by using her powers to entertain customers in the mall.

Jubilee was later taken in by the X-Men and he was finally happy to have a home, aftr calling it her home, Jubilee was one of the students kidnappd by William Stryker to see if the Dark Cerebro would work on them along with a few other students. After being rescued by the X-Men and brotherhood combined and stopped William Stryker Jubilee and the others were brought back to the mansion and have been living there with mostly peace and quiet ever since.

Jubilee sat thought her daily classes, her mind raced off and her eyes were stick to the window next to her chair and she watched as the birds flew around up in the sky. She loved to be free, she also loved being here at the mansion, having her own freedom, and being able to use her powers when she pleased. She was finally taking control, she always used to blow up electronics by touching them if she was even the slightest peeved off but now she is learning to control that.

Class got out and while Jubilee was heading out of the room the professor asked her to wait to talk to her, he was afraid she did something wrong but all along he just wanted to tell her face to face that he was proud of how far he had come since she first came to the school, it made her feel good, being told she was doing something right for a change, and he knew it of course, without even having to read her mind. "Thanks professor." he said with a slight smile and walked out of the classroom with pride.
