Personality-
In the lab, Blade was always silent when doctors and scientists were around. He didn’t like them at all, and always kept to himself. He would only speak when it was absolutely necessary. Being locked up, really messed with his head, and because of it he now suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).He doesn’t like small places or even the mention of being in that lab. If he does hear about it, then he can become violent, resulting in a panic attack. Other than that, he would sometimes say his thoughts out loud, and laugh at them afterward if he thought it was funny. After all what was a guy like him suppose to do when locked up tight all the time?

When Blade escaped from the lab, he didn’t know exactly what to do. He didn’t want to use his strength in case there was someone in the lab tracking him by that. He began using the personality he had in his mind, making friends with some guy on the street. He showed that he can be caring and tough to his friend, which made him want to be friends with Blade.

His personality was coming out of him when he was around his friend. Being outgoing, Blade has cheered everyone around him up, not knowing he had saved some lives in the process. Blade cared for what his new friends said, and if it wasn’t stealing or any other crime, he would go along with it.

History-

Blade was born to Laura Bennett and Alan Soto on May 27, 1992. The relationship between him and his parents wasn’t your normal mother, father, son bond. Her mother had a thing for Alan, but she got in way over her head. She never meant to be with Alan on that night. The stresses of work for Alan caused him to get too close to Laura. That was the night Blade was conceived. Laura, when she found out she was pregnant, didn’t want to give him up and continued on, giving birth to him nine months later.
Alan found mutant genes in his DNA, for he was a scientist, and didn’t consider Blade his son. And because of which, Blade was not allowed to leave the lab.

At a young age of five years old, when Blade had gotten his hands on a battery, he made sparks and electricity fly all over the room. Since then, he has been locked in a room with rubber being outlined all over the walls and floor. The only light allowed in there were candles. He was strapped on a wall with rubber in the daytime and at night they would carefully move him to a bed where he was strapped down. His mother would visit him every day, trying to comfort him in his new surroundings. He was a scared little child wondering why he was being punished. Laura tried to say many times that it was all her fault, but he always blamed himself. He got very attached to his mother though.

Up until he was eight years old, he relied on his mother to give him comfort and support. After everything he had learned in the lab, Blade decided to never show emotion again. When his mother had visited him, he wouldn’t change the expression he always had. It was like he was a statue. The phase only lasted a couple of months. He couldn’t bear not seeing his mother everyday nor stand to see the sad and depressed expression on her face every time she was leaving the room. As he began to smile again when she was in the room, so did she and he loved it when she did.

Laura for a long time had a plan for Blade to escape deep in her mind. As he was allowed to build up his muscles and become very muscular as he reached his teenage years, Laura put that plan into action. Late at night when there were security guards waiting for the replacements of them for the day, she slipped passed all of them and woke Blade up. It was hard and she thought she had blown her cover a couple of times, but she finally got him out of bed, telling him to move. Blade was confused, but went along with it. He wanted to see what the lab was like. When Laura showed him a window with a fire escape just outside it, she told him to run. Blade didn’t want to leave without her as he told her after he was on the escape, but she wouldn’t come. She had to face things here she said to him. The alarm sounded then, scaring them both. It made Laura push him back from the window and close it tight, leaving Blade on his own.

Now, Blade is in the streets making friends with some good, poor people, having his personality grow as he learns the ways of being a regular person. He is slowly going on his way to the brotherhood.

Sample RP-

The five year old Blade had slipped away from his mother and walked into the lab to see his father, and other scientists working on a project. There was an AA battery on the table that Blade could see from the door. He quietly made his way to the table it was on. He grabbed it just as his father called for it. One of the scientists turned around to see that it was gone. Then looking down to the ground, he saw that Blade had it. “Come on brat, give me the battery.” Blade slowly stretched out his arm and palm to reveal the battery. Before the scientist could grab it from his hands, sparks started coming out of the plus side of it. After a few seconds, the negative side started to shoot out electricity. Laura came in the room, and saw what Alan had always hated. She went up behind Blade and tried to get the battery out of his hand, only to end up getting shocked when she came in close contact with it. “Mom?” Blade asked wondering why she was trying to take the battery away. The battery ran out of juice, and the sparks and electricity died down quickly. “Why did you try to take it away?”

Laura didn’t have time to answer him. The security team was already piling themselves in the room, grabbing onto Blade. They had pushed Laura out of the way resulting in her hitting her head. As she rubbed the area she was hit, Blade was being taken away into the rubber room. “Mom!” He called out to her, not knowing what was going on. “Mom, where are they taking me?” He was sad, angry, and scared of what they were doing. Laura tried to get up and go to him, but she couldn’t get to him. The team took him out of the room and into the rubber room. Filled with rage and sadness, Laura went up to Alan and tried to slap him across his face. Alan saw it coming and grabbed onto her wrist, squeezing it tight, making her beg for him to stop. “You knew this would happen one day.” Was all he said before he gestured to a guard to take her to their room.
