Kayla's Room

Kayla walked into her room and closed the door, locking it. She started taking deep breaths. She wondered if she had parents. She wanted to know if they were alive or not. Wanted to be with them, to be able to protect them. 'I hate those scientists. Why couldn't they just leave me alone? What if my parents are them?' She couldn't bear to think about that. All those thoughts started when she saw Laviko's parents.

Kayla didn't say anything and just shrugged. She went over to her computer and turned it on. While waiting for it to load, she looked at Rouge. "...Well how are you?" She asked then, taking some advice the professor told her about.

"Just figure I would...check my email." Kayla said almost slipping up on what she was really going to do. She turned around with her chair to look at her. "Bored?" She asked just because no one ever really came in her room.

"So I'm not boring to you?" Kayla asked, a little surprised. The welcome screen appeared on her computer. She turned around, typed in her password and waited for the next screen to load. Turning back to Rouge to hear her answer.

"I didn't know I wasn't boring." She said remembering what the scientists and doctors would say to her, mixing up her feelings, until she learned how to be unemotional. The screen loaded all the way, and she opened the browser to get to the internet and website for her email account.

"Just some people who don't matter." She replied with. She had her chair, and body facing Rouge. "Well we got a new girl here. Bobby is giving her a tour of the place now."

"Yep. She seems to not trust us all that much. wouldn't blame her though. Some sentinels came for her the same time we did."

"Ya there was minimum damage for everyone, but I couldn't say the same to the houses that are mostly destroyed. I've seen her with energy manipulation. Don't know if she has another power or not."

"I'm not sure. And I don't want to put judge her. She seemed angry like she had just come out of a fight when we first met her." Kayla said looking at her email. The doctors at the lab were somewhat getting onto something.

"Ok." Kayla said closing out of the internet and locking her computer so no could get in without hacking it. She got up from her chair.

Kayla went with her after she grabbed her arm. They looked around the hallway near the hanger, and found them in Cerebro.

Kayla ran up to her room and closed her door, locking it. She couldn't believe the professor said that out loud. She hoped that Mike didn't hear any of that. That no one did. She stood blocking her door with her body, back to the door. "Fond of him? How could I be fond of him. What kind of bond does the professor mean?" She didn't bother wondering why she was talking to herself out loud. It always seemed wrong to her but right now she didn't care.

Kayla had calmed down after a few minutes. She turned around facing her door and took a deep breath to make sure. One way or the other she was going to have to come out of her room, and she decided to see that Blade guy again before she went to bed. It was going to be much safer for both of them if they would only talk in their dreams. Kayla needed answers from him still. She unlocked her door and opened it, stepping outside in the hallway and continued to go down the hallway to find Blade.

Blade closed the door and locked it then leaned his back up against the door as he took deep breaths to calm down. After he calm himself down, he looked around the room. "Hm is this room occupied?" It looked plain to him. Blade then saw the computer and decided to go on it. The screen showed one name for the welcome screen, and that was Kayla. "Looks like I hit the jackpot. That is if I can crack your password." He started typing in some words, some that he thought she might use. He didn't get anything right, and then the computer locked so he couldn't try anymore. "O well." He said and shrugged. Blade leaned back in the chair and stretched his arms. "I wonder when Kayla will come back."

Mike ran into Kayla's room after trying very hard to find the escaped prisoner. "There you are!" He said as he caught his breath. "What are you doing in here!?" He asked as he stepped closer.
