Kayla's Room

Blade looked over to Supercaliy, remembering him. "Sorry back there, I can get a little panicky if I'm in small spaces for a long time." He still looked relaxed in the seat. "Why are you in Kayla's room?" He asked back ignoring his question and asking the same one back at him. He stretched his arms and then crossed them.

Mike shrugged and closed the door, "I'm here because I knew that you were in here and I couldn't let you just run around free in the Institute unsupervised could I?" He asked rhetorically.

"Heh, not like I would of been destroying any equipment. I told some guy why I was here, and Kayla too." He smirked a little. His arms were still crossed.

Kayla slammed her door opened, seeing Blade and Mike in her room. "What the hell is going on here?" She demanded from them. "Why are you two in my room?"

"I followed him in here!" Mike said pointing to him with a serious face. "It was all him!"

"Thanks for putting all the blame on me." He said getting up from the seat. "Hey Kayla, why are you so mad?" He asked a bit sarcastically, walking over to her.

"Sorry but you don't know her like I do." He whispered and then grinned brightly and innocently at Kayla.

Kayla crossed her arms and looked at the both of them. "Get out now." She said sternly, clearly unhappy that they were there.

Mike slowly sighed and went behind Blade and lead him out of the door as he grinned at Kayla innocently and out of the door before blade could say anything about and he closed the door behind him. Mike then went to Blade's front, "Ya know, were lucky we got out without a burn." He mentioned.

"Really now? Doesn't seem that way to me." Blade said wondering just what kind of power she had. "So seriously, what's her power?"

Kayla takes a breath and uncrosses her arms. She saw Blade at the computer and wondered if he got in. She walked to her chair and sat down, some of his warmth still lingered there. Kayla pulled the chair up to her computer and saw that he didn't get in. "Thank god."

Mike looked down the hall as some students walked by, "Come with me to my room, It's not safe talking here." Mike said as he started down the hall and to his room.

Kayla heard screaming out in the hallway. She wondered what it was all about. Then she couldn't hear anything anymore. She poked her head outside of her door to see Blade out in the hallway. 'Don't see me! Don't see me!

She saw him walking towards her and she got her head back in her room and closed the door. She then locked her door and took a breath.

Somebody knocked on her door "Kayla?" The Professor asked. "May I come in, I need to tell you something?." He asked patiently waiting behind the door.

Kayla gasped when she heard the knock upon her door. She took another breath to calm down. She opened the door. "What is it professor?" She asked stepping toward the side so Professor X could get in.

The professor had on a concerned face as he looked up at Kayla. "I'm afraid to have to tell you this, my young Mastergirl." He began as he wheeled into her room "Mike has been kidnapped by somebody from Weapon X." He said seriously and almost scared.

Kayla at first thought the professor was kidding at first, but she knew him well and with that knew he would never kid her like that. The screams from the hallway proved it even more. "Then we have to rescue him."

The professor nodded his head, "Alright then. Gather the team and take the X-Jet out as soon as possible." The Professor said sternly and left the room giving her a hopeful gaze.

"I will professor." Kayla said with a nod. She waited for the professor to leave the room, and then went in search for everyone else.
